PB Partners has closed the deal on financing the production of unique industrial drones

In February 2017 ARDN, the producer of industrial drones, has closed the second round of investment. Earlier the company has received new commercial orders and 1mm Euro of new financing will allow the company to start small-scale manufacturing and deliver on commercial contracts.

Arseny Dabbah, one of the RB partners, commented on the deal: "FlYP is a great example of a world-class innovation project. We are very happy to be involved in company development at this stage, and we are absolutely sure it will not be left unnoticed by international corporate and finance venture funds. We will continue to cooperate with FPI and help attract strategic partners for other projects of the fund".



Nanotech Industrial Solutions (NIS) closes the investment deal with Evonik Industries

Evonik Industries (Germany) has invested through its venture capital arm in Nanotech Industrial Solutions, Inc. (NIS) headquartered in Avenel (NJ, USA) and now holds a minority share in the company. The parties have agreed not to disclose the volume of the transaction. NIS plans to use the proceeds for further growth of the company. Evonik received a seat on the Board of Directors of NIS. The company, which was founded in 2012, has commercialized a unique particle technology for the lubricants industry and believes to be an emerging leader in high-performance lubricant additives.

As part of the investment, NIS and the Oil Additives Business Line completed a commercial agreement. “Evonik believes that the investment offers the chance to fulfill even more demanding customer requirements. What’s more, access to the technology of NIS opens up further development opportunities for our current products as well as new products in our existing and also future markets,” emphasized Ralf Düssel, head of the Oil Additives Business Line.

Evonik plans to invest a total of €100 million in promising start-ups with innovative technologies and in leading specialized venture capital funds as part of its venture capital activities. Regional focuses are Europe, the United States and Asia. Currently, Evonik holds stakes in ten start-ups and four funds.

01.07.2015 ANF Technology, the innovative discoverer and developer of the NAFEN alumina nano fibers and related dispersion products, recently was awarded the maximum grant award from the EU’s Horizon 2020 science innovation program (€2.5m).

“Horizon 2020” is the financial instrument implementing the Innovation Union, a Europe 2020 flagship initiative aimed at securing Europe’s global competitiveness.

Seen as a means to drive economic growth and create jobs, Horizon 2020 has the political backing of Europe’s leaders and the Members of the European Parliament. They agreed that research is an investment in our future and so put it at the heart of the EU’s blueprint for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth and jobs.

According to Tim Ferland, ANF’s Commercial Director, “the H2020 grant allows ANF to continue to provide on-site development of our dispersion products so that our customers can easily incorporate NAFEN into their production processes. It will be of significant help in our continuing development efforts to meet the expectations and needs of the advanced materials and composites industries.”


NAFEN Dynamic Enhancers took part at CAMX – USA, Texas, Dallas

27. 10. 2015 NAFEN Dynamic Enhancers took part at CAMX – USA, Texas, Dallas.

CAMX is the largest composite and advanced materials conference and exhibition in North America. The event hosts more than 700 exhibition participants and thousands of conference attendees and visitors involved in the advanced materials industry.

ANF Technology, the manufacturer of NAFEN alumina nanofibersis presenting their new product, the NAFEN Dynamic Enhancers line of performance enhancing epoxy dispersions.  ANF is no stranger to the CAMX exhibition, having participated in the event since its inception in 2014.  At the Dallas event, ANF presents data on the levels of mechanical performance that are achievable with small amounts of the NAFEN fibers in epoxy resin systems.  The main focus of the research information will be on epoxy adhesives and composite bonding systems.
